Anyone a member?

Is it any good?

I do her dvds, wondering if it's worth trying?

I normally do slimming world but it's expensive and I'm so over yogurt and bloody tomatoes! Lol not together haha. I want to try something new and like the idea that it has a food plan as well as fitness classes.

Yes I m a member
It's incredibly patronising
Very little proper advice, most comes from other members so not properly qualified
The price has come down by £15 a month as bad dwindling membership
The workouts are extremely easy , nothing like the Davina dvds
There is very little for the experienced and hardcore
The Facebook "community" is an absolute joke, full of yo yo dieters telling you what they are for breakfast

There is no input at all from Davina, very disappointing most of the workouts she's not even in
Oh and the recipes often don't work
The calorie allowance calculator also doesn't work

Also if you cancel your membership it keeps taking your money. There are countless posts from people trying to get money back that has been wrongly taken.

I'm not a fan, did you guess
You would be much better off with Les mills on demand

Yeah definitely ditch slimming world, they purposefully don't educate people about calorie deficit just so you keep paying every month. I'd recommend the calorie calculator on James Smith academy website and then using my fitness pal to work out your calories as you go along. You don't need someone else to tell you what to eat!

@TwinkleMerrick
I know it was February when you first posted but have you see that OYG is free for 30 days.
It might be worth a look. I am really enjoying it. I did the intermediate work out and by thighs and bum know about it! Davina was the instructor. The face book page is ok so far,

@notacooldad thanks for the tip, I might check it out. Although difficult as self isolating some with a toddler....doing joe wickes and I get terrorised every time Confused

I would just say be very careful I started a 7 day trial in December, I decided it wasn't for me I emailed to cancel, in January £9.99 came out of my bank, I emailed again to say I had cancelled. In February another £9.99 so I emailed again!!! although it says you will get a response you never do! It is now April and I have now had to get the bank involved as they have taken £50.00 . I have also done the online chat and they are very apologetic. but nothing ever comes back.
Its a shame because I like Davina but I wouldn't recommend this. I noticed in an earlier post someone had said there were posts saying people were having same problem as me, were would I find these posts.

I hope they sorted it out for you. I joined for the year after free trail. It's 60gbp, the price of night out. Diet part is really not great imo, but there is great variety of workouts and they add all live videos they do.

I really like it but it's strenght is the workuts nothing else. The trainers are really great, even if you are recovering form injury or illness and need something gentle

I'm so angry this is happening to me!! Did you get your money back? Thanks 😊
