App recommendations for going from 5k - 10k please

I'm used to running 5k now and have signed up for a 10k in May - please can you recommend a training app for making the step up?

I did it through a running club but essentially just upped the run by half a k each week until you run 10k.
It was easier to get from 5-10k than nothing to 5k :)

Thanks wobblywibble I think that's the answer - I've got 17 weeks so plenty of time at 1/2km per week - at least it means I can listen to my own music rather than whatever the app throws at me!

There's a 5-10k app by the same people as do couch to 5k but I'd also just add 0.5km a week to your long run and don't add on the next week if that one didn't feel comfortable. You've got loads of time and personally I would train to 10k distance before the race. And don't be afraid to take walking breaks if you feel like you need to, so long as you're moving forwards it's all that matters!

Thanks @emmathedilemma - I don't think I'll ever find 10k easy, but by gradually increasing I'm hoping I won't notice Grin

I am doing the zen labs 10K app. I did their C25K one and continued on to the 10K.
2 more runs to go to complete it.
