Baby is almost eight months old and I feel flabby and unfit. I’d love to start some body weight exercises to build some strength but have no idea where to start.

I'd recommend having a look on YouTube. 'Blogilates' is one I've always enjoyed, she does a monthly calendar and a beginners.

Body weight exercises are things like squats, lunges, push ups, pull ups, bridges, leg raises etc where the resistance is your own body weight.

You could start with 10 minutes a day:
2 minutes squats
2 minutes push ups
2 minutes lunges
2 minutes bridge
2 minutes leg raises

Watch some YouTube videos to help learn the correct technique and focus on getting your technique perfect first rather than how many you can do.

Push ups - some people start on their knees and progress to full push ups. You can also use the stairs - the higher the stair the easier it is.

There are so many on youtube. Have a look at Joe Wicks- the body coach. He has some short HIIT work outs that last about 15 minutes and can be done in your living room. His wife has just had a baby so there are some pregnancy friendly ones as well which could be good to ease you in.

If you like that, try Popsugar Fitness, also on youtube as they have a massive range of stuff including pilates etc too.

Lastly, have a look at Yoga With Adrienne. There's a thread on here about it as she generally does a 30 Days of Yoga series in January. That will get you using muscles without equipment and no bouncing around.
