Smelly gym kit

I don't seem to be able to get my gym kit smelling fresh. I'm worried I'm going to start to offend other gym users

I've bought Dettol Anti-bacterial laundry cleanser and that's not helping. Does anybody have any suggestions for me?

Bio detergent and also fragrance booster the lenor blue one

Soaking in water and vinegar might help. Then wash as normal afterwards, using biological powder.

I put white vinegar in the wash along with the detergent.

Halo sports wash from Sainsburys

Do you, or can you, line dry it in the sunshine?

Halo Sports Wash + splosh of vodka in the fab con drawer. And I wash at minimum 40 degrees -- 30 doesn't cut it for sportswear.

I also find it's better to whip it out of the machine and hang it up as soon as it's done, to avoid getting a musty smell.

I add a capful of zoflora to the wash. Wash it on 60 if you can and hang up to dry outside if possible.

Check the label some gym gear is supposed to be washed at 30c and actually remains smelly if you wash it at higher temperatures

Soak it in napisan, wash with napisan and bio powder, don't use fabric conditioner

I use vinegar and essential oils instead of conditioner and seems to work (40 degrees wash).

Unless you have kit with transfers on it, put it through at 60

Will clear really fusty and sweat smells you’ll be amazed

Then go back to your normal temp in future

Thank you all. I've read the Halo reviews and that sounds good. I'm doing to order some from Amazon.

As to the vinegar trick, is there a recommended dose to add? I'm a bit nervous I'll put to much in and I'll end up smelling like a chippie!
