Getting back into exercise

I haven't exercised for a year and now finding it daunting to get back into it! How do I start again? Any tips?

Start slowly

Make it a definite part of your weekly routine (eg “gym days” on Monday, Wednesday, Friday - or whatever.

Join a class or two to learn new physical skills and exercise in company

Keep a record of what you do to see the gradual improvement

Take it slowly & steadily
