Can anyone recommend a cheap running buggy? I've signed up for a 10k in September and need to start training.

Look out for second hand ones, I got my out n about running buggy on eBay. They also come up on selling pages, I know there is a specific out n about selling page on Facebook but there may be others.
My favourite running buggy to use (hired one on holiday) is the Thule Glide, sadly never seen one of those cheap though.

Thanks for the reply, will keep an eye out for something second hand. Best I've seen so far is a baby jogger versa for £60, but am just not sure if it's worth that if I only enter one race.

Well done for signing up!!

I’m out of the buggy loop but £60 sounds reasonable for a second hand buggy. I’m guessing the original owner paid much more??

Would it be easier to stomach if you reframed the cost? Currently you’re spending £60/race. Assuming you’re able to run at least twice a week for 3 months, that’s at least 24 runs. That’s £2.50 a run! Less if you train more often. That’s also cheaper than classes or childcare round here! (£60 is still £60, I know, especially if money is tight)

You might be able to sell it on after the race. Or get the bug and keep racing!!

Good luck 😀

Grin never thought of it that way, that's so true!
