I am 60 and just started!
I have a good trainer and really enjoy the different stuff you can do. And it has made a difference!

Get a trainer at least to start off with

I'm not sure where I'd find a trainer. Our local gyms aren't amazing.

Talk to one of the gym instructors, or look for a personal trainer online, they'll be able to get you started.

Look for crossfit near you and do a free trial class.
It is scaleable for everyone and I'm 52, started in October and my shape and fitness has improved massively.

I'm 40s and starting this week after never doing anything ever. I avoid all exercise, even walking, but my back is now in trouble and I need to strengthen up.

So this week, I am starting weights too. Very very gently. I'm going to get advice from a physiotherapist first, and do some pilates to strengthen my back before doing anything mad.

I hope it ok that I join you here, we can start together!

Go to a BodyPump class. You'll love it!

Do you have weights yourself at home or are you planning on joining a gym?
