Will I lose weight doing this?

Hi šŸ‘‹ ive been trying to lose weight the past year and only managed to lose about a stone if that. Just through cutting out sugary drinks/ sugar.
I’m thinking about walking for an hour a day every day, would this make any difference? At the moment I don’t really do any exercise. I go on holiday in September and reallly want to lose at
Least 2 stone and tone up. Would
Walking an hour a day and eating healthier be enough to see a change?

You may lose some weight but really it's down to food intake.

I have struggled with trying to shift just those last few pounds for years.. Tracking and sticking to a plan is key. No nibbles here and there or weekend blowouts.

Last year I followed a strict 6 week diet and exercise plan. It was v rigid with no room for cheat meals. The exercise was full on too - a LOT of weights and cardio 6 days per week. It worked though and I was in my best shape ever.

Re visit your diet and work out how many calories you eat daily. It's surprising how easy it is to over eat.

You will lose weight, slowly, but you will. Shit ton of walking? Brisk walking for 75 minutes a day is over four miles for me.

I didn’t change anything about my diet other than two 800 calorie days. I don’t snack, rarely drink alcohol and lost 1.5 stone at a time of life that isn’t easy to lose weight - active walking with a bit of uphill.

Confused

That's quite an established method fazackerley

Yes I know.

The confused face was the assertion that it was the walking that did the weight loss and the diet stayed the same except doing loads of things that would contribute to weight loss

Moving = calories expended.

Oh haha yes I see. Two 800 calorie days is quite a big thing!
