Stress fracture and a torn tendon. Recovery?

I've got a stress fracture in my fibula and a longitudinal tear in my peroneal brevis. Also tendosynovitis in that tendon and another ankle tendon and a high sprain in the ligament which connects my fibula to my tibia.

Been in agony for 7 months and just got the diagnosis.

Anyone had similar and how was recovery time? Did it recover with rest or did you need surgery?

omg, no idea, but will bump for you.
The fracture will get better long before the tendon & ligament do, I suspect.
Do you know how those things happened to you?

Thanks, not really any idea how I've done it. Physio says possibly a stress fracture. Am waiting to see the ankle orthopedic consultant. Just worried that the fracture hasn't healed in 7 months, but then I've been walking and running on it which won't help.
