I got just one shock absorber one in a 32GG about 3 years ago, and it’s still going strong after being in the washing machine/dryer twice a week since! Think I paid about £30 in it but never had anything as effective!

I’ve got a shock absorber one (36E) and it straps them down nicely. It was expensive though, and it’s quite tight so you kind of have to squuuueeze into it.

I've love this panache one. I'm a 30f. Holds everything down Grin it's not particularly cheap but you might get a new year bargain somewhere.

I find Shock Absorbers a faff to get on and they run very small in the band, but SportsShoes has some great prices on them.
I love Panache and Freya sports bras - Bravissimo has £5 off at the moment

myidentitymycrisis · 12/01/2019 19:38

Thanks everyone, I have been looking for sales but haven't found anything in my size yet.

I have an old Shock Absorber and it's now too tight in the band as CMOTDibbler says. I have not put on that much weight (I think)since I bought it. Maybe I could extend it?

I’m not sure if you’d be able to extend the band using a conventional extender, would it be strong enough?

Aside from that, another vote for the Panache underwired sports bras here. I’m a 34H and they are great - and last ages.

thenightsky · 12/01/2019 19:57

One word.... Enell.

CountessVonBoobs · 12/01/2019 19:59

I get Shock Absorbers cheap on eBay. I size up in both band and cup as they run small. I'm a 28G. The Panache underwired sports bra is the shit though. Check eBay for discontinued and last-season colourways.

dementedpixie · 12/01/2019 20:00

I also wear the panache ultimate underwired bra - 36GG

AhoyAhoy · 12/01/2019 20:03

My shock absorber totally holds my massive e boobs in place, but feels like it’s getting tighter every time I wear it.I wash it 3 times a week and has had about 3/4 years Of use, so I think it must be shrinking. I’ve just ordered 4 from next. Cheapest £26. I’m quite low impact at the gym, so I think I can get away with less support.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 13/01/2019 21:29

Panache all the way (32ff). I had found an amazing dupe for about half the price on amazon but they are no longer available Sad.

KatharinaRosalie · 14/01/2019 09:39

I'm that size and like shock absorber run's the best - I buy them in 32E or F as the band runs really small

CountessVonBoobs · 14/01/2019 10:51

Yes I think most people need to size up one size in both band AND cup on the shock absorbers - I (28G) buy the 30G.

totallyliterally · 14/01/2019 10:57

Panache underwired. 34ff here and no bounce at all.
