This may sound like an odd question but are water aerobics classes just for older women? Im very overweight so thought this may help but Im anxious about being the youngest one there. Any other exercise recommendations to get me started are also helpful
Thanks

They tend to be attractive to the 50+ age group because of the low impact, also people who are very over weight or recovering from injury.

I've had a few phases of it over the years and always been the one of the youngest (last went in my early 30s after DS2 & SPD)

Give it a try. It is a good aerobic workout and the water resistance does work you subtly. No one is going to mind if you are different to the main demographic Smile

I am 39 and I went a few months ago. Yes, the class was full of people aged 50+ but it was a great workout. I hadn't exercised in years and was very overweight so it was an easy option for me. Especially as I wanted to learn to swim and it helped me get used to being in the water.

Thank you both. I went and quite enjoyed it!
