Sweaty Betty sizing? Tight / loose?

It's time to invest in some new leggings and I might splash out on some from SB.

Do they come up true to size or too tight / loose? I never usually order clothes on line.

I think they're quite true to size, and because leggings are stretchy, quite forgiving, but I would order both pairs if you're not sure and can't get to a store. Or give them a call, I've always found their customer service really helpful.

I've got about 5 pairs of Zero Gravity leggings. I'm a size 14 and 5'9".

Might two oldest pairs are a large and they fit well. Then my third pair was also a large and they are too big (I need to use the drawstring which is a pain). My two most recent ones are Medium and they fit well. So I think they might have changed the sizes recently. All of them are regular in length (apart from my cropped ones) and they are a nice length on me.

The waist bands are really wide and quite high so I'd go for the smaller if you're between sizes because they don't dig in and cause muffin tops if they're snug.

I always buy a size smaller in leggings as I find their sizing is quite generous. I'm 5'8" and a size 10 and buy XS in leggings. The leggings do give a little bit after a few wears and washes too.

Here's a £25 discount voucher off any £50 spend which should hopefully make the clothes a vaguely OK price!

DownThePan, when you post your refer a friend link you should let people know that you will get £25 off as well.

I’m a 12 in normal clothing. Am I m or l

fellrunner85 · 11/12/2021 18:54

I think they fit differently from one style to another. I'm 5ft 6 and a size 8-10. I have XS in Powers and S in Zero Gravity.

Fashio · 11/12/2021 20:48

Oh nooo

randomsabreuse · 11/12/2021 21:03

I'm a 12 and have S powers and M Zero Gravity. I'm quite short legged so 7/8 suits me well. I have chunky thighs and calves more than anything else.

The Zero Gravity aren't very squat proof but the Powers definitely are. Zero Gravity are much lighter so better for hot weather when the powers are a bit too warm.

nbee84 · 11/12/2021 21:29

@Fashio - I'm a size 12 - 5ft 4 and about 10st 4lb. I have a pair of allday in m that fit ok but the last couple of pairs that I've bought have been power leggings and are a s and fit really well.

Fashio · 12/12/2021 08:55

Oh thank you so much everyone. I’m going HIGH SHINE 😬

fellrunner85 · 12/12/2021 14:30

I've got high shine! The sizing is like the zero gravity IME - so not as generous as the Powers.

Fashio · 12/12/2021 15:49

so a 12 medium?

DietrichandDiMaggio · 12/12/2021 16:07

I'm size 8-10. weigh about 8 st 10 lb and wear small in the powers. I'm sure I could fit in XS, but don't find the small baggy.

AmandaHugenkiss · 12/12/2021 16:10

Size 14, 80kg at 5’10 and a medium in the Power leggings.

Bloody love em.

fellrunner85 · 12/12/2021 16:41

Yes, if you're usually a 12 I'd go for a medium in the high shine, @fashio - I'm a 8-10 and have a small.

MsMartini · 12/12/2021 17:32

I am usually a medium in sports kit but seem to be a small in SB, especially bottoms (size 10-12 in normal clothes, top heavy)
