Nipples!

So I was training in the gym the other day and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I was hot but must've been stood under the air con cause my nipples were hard & really obvious! I was training with a male PT friend of mine, so pretty embarrassed!
I wear shock absorber sports bras, which are great but have no padding. I usually wear a sporty vest top or lycra top. Ive recently spent a bit on my gym wear, so don't want to have to buy any more bras or tops. Has anyone else come across this issue & what did you do? I don't want to just ignore it cause there are a lot of guys in the gym (& I already feel conscious that I have big breasts). Are there any kind of nipple covers/pads out there that I can use to stop them standing out, with looking like a weird shape in my bra?

Put tape over them

Not sure if they are available in the UK, but Hydrogel Breast Discs might help. They are a thick gel for breastfeeding nipples, to promote faster healing, not that you need that! But they stick on, stay put and I don't think they left an obvious outline through my bra.

Sorry, a gel circle.

Do you think tape or gel discs will stay on during a sweaty work out? Would be even worse if one slipped out, then I had one nipple standing out but not the other!
I might look in to just buying some cheaper vest tops that have thicker material.

I’d buy cups that you’d sew into a dress and put those in your bra. Probably the only thing that will properly mask it. I bet no one else notices tho- after all, men have nipples too Grin

Breastfeeding cotton nipple pads, circular: washable and unlikely to budge inside a shock absorber!

You'll have a tight bra on - nothing is budging if the bra is doing its job!!

I was using washable bamboo breastpads when starting running anyway. They were comfortable and stayed put by a good fitting bra anyway.

Plenty of men suffer bleeding nipples through their t-shirts at the end of long races, so there's no need to worry too much Wink
