Running Leggings

I have recently bought a pair of Nike Filament Capri Running Tights. They have a gusset lining built into them. What is the purpose of the gusset lining? Does it mean they are designed to be worn without underwear?

I think it is to prevent the dreaded 'camel toe'! There are a lot of people who don't wear underwear with running leggings though, it's up to you really.

I wear pants (big pants) under my running tights when I run. Lots of people don't though.

I can see why people don't bother with knickers. I mean, I change into running gear immediately before a run so it's not like I am in the gear for long beforehand. Then as soon as I'm home I strip off my running gear and chuck in the wash. So the leggings will be going straight into the wash regardless of wearing pants or not.

So on reflection, I'm not sure why I wear pants when on a run. But I do.
