Has anyone found any excellent pilates channels on YouTube? As good as Yoga With Adrienne.

Or apps?

I've seen a few but they have poor sound, bad camera angles, annoying presenter (I realise this is personal), or they're just not achievable for a beginner like me.

Lots of them start off with that move where you lie down flat, arms over your head and sit up without using your arms to push up and saying OOF - it's just not going to happen here for a good while yet!

So, any recommendations please?

Bump!

Personally I think it’s best to go to a Pilates class as the movements are very precise and small and it’s important to get them right. Once you’ve understood the principles it’s v easy to do them at home. ( just my opinion )

I really like Ange's Pilates. She doesn't have quite as many videos as Adriene, but she's really good and gives good directions.

What @Destinysdaughter says. It is so easy to not realise you are doing Pilates incorrectly. My instructor has got a 'standard' class which she has written down. When she is away, I do that.

Plus, I do like an 'apres Pilates' coffee with my classmates! You can't do that on YouTube!
