I am just starting running (week 2 c25k) do lots of walking inbetween. Yesterday it was cold and I really felt it in my knees and calves and I realised I only have very thin gym leggings. Can anyone recommend something warmer ( and not too expensive) Thanks !

Depending on the temperature I wear either my regular Ronhill tights or my winter ones, which have a thicker lining.

Brilliant I will try some of the winter ones. Thank you, it will save me from giving up already!

You could just wear jogging bottoms

Fleece lined, just enough to keep the chill off your bum!

I had these last year.

TKMaxx quite often have ones that appear to be called C/Fit by a company called Cubus - they're black and bright pink, and I find them very warm.

If you can afford it (and want to spend) then the 2XU windproof compression tights are excellent

Look at Decathlons offering I got a warm pair last year for £10.00 and they are good quality.

I really like Gap Winterbrush.
