I've suffered on and off over the years with painful knee joints which have flared up again BIG TIME (at the same tie as being bedridden with flu, so I've missed about 2 weeks training) and I expect I won't be able to do any weight bearing exercise on them for a month or so. So, I need to devise some WODs of my own, not involving weight on bending knees. Can anyone suggest any movements? things like box jumps (even steps) squats and most Olympic lifting moves apart from deadlift and running are out of the question at the moment.
I'm thinking things like :
Toes to bar
Scap pull ups (can't do proper ones yet)
Abs - weighted sit ups, flutter kicks, hollow body hold etc
Renegade rows with dumb bells, triceps dips with dumb bells etc
Push ups
These will all be working upper body/ core, can anyone think of lower body movements without putting weight on bent knees?
Thanks in advance !
