Fitbit - replace Charge HR or upgrade to Charge 2?

Hi,
I've had a ftbit charge HR for just over a year now and it's broken. Fitbit have said I can have a replacement for free or upgrade to a newer model for a 50% discount (not for the pricier ones though). I would definitely want a charge 2, although I prefer the look of the Alta, because I do a lot of circuit sessions and like to set it recording my activity. But they're expensive aren't they?! Original was a birthday present.
Would anyone recommend paying the extra for the charge 2???

I went from charge HR to charge 2 and would 100% say do the change. The charge2 just has a bit more about it and the screen really does become a bonus. They both fit prettt much the same - same thickness etc
