Hi
Not sure if this is in the right place but can anyone advise me.
Never had asthma that i know of. I do a lot of running and go to the gym. I notice when I run my chest sometimes becomes really tight and I can’t stop coughing. Today at the gym I started coughing and couldn’t stop and I felt like I couldn’t come arch my breath. My chest felt tight and still feels pretty tight tonight like I cant breath in too much without coughing. Think I will see the doctor or nurse tomorrow

Sounds like me. I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma (Sounds made up doesn't it?!) In my late 20's. Now I have a preventer inhaler and don't get the tight chest/cough when exercising. I would see your GP.

Thank you. I didn’t read up on that and thought it sounds similar to what I have felt. Thanks

the same for me as burblife. Although I was mainly doing long distance cycling, it was during running that I first noticed it. Quite scary when it first happened as my lungs were really tightening. Now on a preventer inhaler and it has stopped. Withme it started when i was 50.
