Does anyone want to start ripped in 30 together so we can motivate and keep each other on track?

I've got 30 minute shred but will get on board with doing that?

Namechangedandfedup · 30/04/2018 18:31

30 day shred I mean

76mum · 30/04/2018 18:35

Fab, i finished 30 day shred, about 3 weeks ago and have been really lazy since and it's amazing how much your fitness increases doing it everyday, but i really feel unfit again.

But determined to lose weight before holiday so will stick to it again

Oh that gives me some hope, did you see a big difference in doing it. Did you manage to stick to it every day?? I admit I'm a bit nervous! Ivegot a holiday in 7 weeks so certainly up for the challenge!

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 30/04/2018 18:39

Yes, please! Was just thinking about this today. I have just lost quite a weight, which is great, but now really need to tone up to have any hope of feeling good in summer clothes. There's still just too much wobble everywhere ...

gingerbreadbiscuits · 30/04/2018 18:41

I have started the Shred today so I will do that with everyone. It won’t always be possible for me to do it every day.

beela · 30/04/2018 18:43

Can I join you? I'm 2 weeks in but could do with some company!

Sosogoodagain · 30/04/2018 18:55

Is it doable when you're massive? Is it heavy on the knees does anyone know?

Elvisola · 30/04/2018 19:00

I'm starting tomorrow. Have done it before and it worked well, hoping to do it alongside a lower calorie diet to shed some pounds for Summer.

76mum · 30/04/2018 20:10

I found I didn't lose much weight on 30 day shred but def saw the difference in my clothes. I'm 13 stone and want to get to 12 in 6 weeks !

It is heavy in the knees but you have to try and make sure your form is good

I did it on Friday with my sister instead of running in the rain, she now hates me as her inner thighs and hamstrings still hurt! 😂

beela · 30/04/2018 21:54

sosogoodagain it is fairly high impact, you need to make sure you are wearing supportive trainers.

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 01/05/2018 06:17

Does it help tone your arms up at all? I have terrible 'batwings' Blush.

76mum · 01/05/2018 23:02

Day 2 done ! Feeling achey. Found this dvd not too bad but I can't do side planks or push ups !

OP posts:
beela · 02/05/2018 07:19

If you have specific areas you want to tone or if you are worried about impact - either on your joints or the neighbours! - then her 'no more trouble zones' dvd is good.

CaptainBrickbeard · 02/05/2018 07:23

I’m doing Ripped in 30 at the moment. I can’t get it done on enough days to move past Level 1 at the moment! I find when I do a JM DVD, I start off all guns blazing and without fail get ill in the middle and trail off. I have got all the way through the Shred and lost 11lbs in the 30 days without doing much to modify my diet so I know it works and is great. It’s just very intense! I prefer Ripped though - less jumping jacks!

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 02/05/2018 17:36

Thanks for the tip, Beela.

Well done to everyone who is getting on with it. I am ashamed to confess that I haven't even started yet. I keep reading accounts of the amount pain involved and have now frightened myself Blush.

Elvisola · 02/05/2018 21:05

Did Day 1 yesterday, can barely move legs today. My abs (under acres of fat)are groaning too.

I enjoyed it though and was so pleased I started, hopefully once I stop being so ridiculously unfit I can get on it every day.
