If I do HIIT (5 mins) 3 times a week and vinyasa yoga at least 3 times a week (usually I do more but just as a conservative estimate) is this enough exercise?

You only do 5 minutes HIIT? Maybe need to extend that (a lot!)

Daisy03 · 27/04/2018 13:48

Increase the hiit to at least 20 minutes and it'd be fine

Not really. Also depends whether you have sedentary lifestyle, drive everywhere and eat junk.

HIIT needs to be 20-30 mins 3x a week to see decent improvement.

But, any exercise is still better than none.

I'm really active (but less active than I used to be after having a baby) but I do chase a toddler around all day and I eat very very well. I'm currently pregnant but I didn't want that to be taken into consideration with this question right now! The reason I do 5 mins is because I would probably struggle to do more (time and motivation wise - there always seem to be more pressing things to do) but I also recently watched this:

Is it a load of crap?
