How soon should I see results/change?

(Regular MNer but NCd for this so not linked to other stuff)

I am massively overweight to the point where I have an activity booked mid June which I exceed the permitted weight by half a stone, so that's a motivator! Blush

Anyway, diet is good and consistent, but FT job is extremely sedentary and I have a slight health issue which limits how much longer distance/duration I can move. I have started a new gym which has some amazing classes. They are all nice and varied HIIT/Circuits/Weights style + some yoga, so am wondering when I should start noticing a change in my body?

I am honestly enjoying it and feel so motivated that I am doing loads of sessions (I have rest days and am not overdoing it/know my limits.)

It would be absolutely mortifying to be over the weight for this thing in June and it can't be rebooked as we're tying it in with a special holiday there too. I have left it so late as I have been on/off ill for a period of time and also perhaps didn't quite realise how bad things had got.

Thanks

Very quickly if you also count your calories.

Losing weight is about 90% diet/10% exercise, the exercise is very good for you and will help with the weight loss but as long as your diet is good you should easily lose 1 to 1.5 stones in that time depending how overweight you are
