Pilates and lower back

I'm trying to avoid backache in the Easter break between Pilates terms by doing the following short and simple routines.
I've been doing 1-3 Pilates classes every week since Sept and my form is generally good. Any advice for keeping my lower back safe and/or if these aren't ideal can you recommend a good routine?

Have a 1to1 session with an instructor, tell them exactly what you ant to achieve. it's so easy to injure yourself if you don't have your body in exactly the right position before you move.

They can show you exactly where your pelvis should be before you start the movement.

I'm hopeless at following videos, I think I'm doing exactly the same thing, but I'm really not.

I agree, that's a great idea, but as we're in the break I have three weeks without my instructor and I know my back will go before it's over.
