Running after C-section

Hello, looking for a little advice.

I had a second csection 9 weeks ago. It was an elective after a traumatic emergency first time around.

I am feeling much better and desperate to start running again - probably opting for c25k to get me started. I did do a half marathon just before conceiving but know I need to start slowly again.

I've rambled a bit but my question is... How long did it take people to start running again after a csection?

I just ran across the road and feel pulling pain and started to well up as it just seems so far away that I'll ever get back to it.

I started c25k at 10 weeks but very slowly.

I did walks from 6-10 to build up to it

I started running again after ten weeks, but took it very gently.

Started slowly again after about 7 weeks and ran a half marathon when ds was 6 months old.

Wow! Thanks for the advice will give it another few weeks walking further and further and try a gentle run then.

Thanks for giving me some faith. I had no idea I would miss it so much.
