What iPhone fitness apps do you like? Nothing running related. More yoga/Pilates/barre/hiit type

I don't really use apps for fitness (the only exception is Seconds which I use for doing circuits at home). But I really like FitnessBlender.com which has hundreds of various workouts that you can filter for difficulty, length, equipment etc etc. Yoga with Adriene is lovely for yoga (again tonnes of videos). I don't use anything else (I also see a PT, go to a circuits class and yoga class weekly, plus we have a treadmill at home, so I only work out at home once or twice a week if that.).

I’m going to resurrect this - sorry! My dad wants a personal trainer and although I can see lots and lots of benefits, I just can’t afford it at the moment. Are there any pt type apps she can use in the gym? I’m happy to pay if it’s good and not silly money?

I’m really looking for something encouraging for a positive outlook and no thigh gap talk!

Have a look at Kayla Itsines, she has an App called Sweat.

You pay a weekly subscription for it and it has various workouts to choose from, both suitable for the gym and at home with no equipment.

I must say that I haven't used it (2 small kids so hard to find the time!) but follow her on Instagram. She has an amazing body, BUT she posts lots of motivational stuff, healthy eating tips and emphasizes you should work out to see what your body is capable of rather than what it can look like. Some of her videos showing her doing chin ups etc are incredible - it really motivates you to do some exercise. She also regularly posts progress photos from regular women of all sizes who have followed her work out. Maybe have a look at her IG account and see if it could be suitable?
