Hi all, my 2nd sprog is 9mnths old and I still have a 1cm separation down my abs from top to bottom.

Am following YouTube videos and doing careful pilates to try and help. But does anyone have any exercises they could share?

I'm doing a triathlon in May so need to start getting some strength back a bit sharpish!

The restore your core program gets good feedback. It is paid but there’s a FB group and I think some free excercises.

According to Mutu, a gap of 1-2 fingerwidths is fine. What makes you think you have DS? (Not sure that link will work, I had to log in to access it, but if you google MuTu system, how to check for diastasis rectii, it should come up).

This is the text version.

Thanks! That's interesting. Tbh I hadn't heard of it ever until a postnatal pilates instructor told me I had it.

Well if there are no functional issues, as I say, your gap in itself wouldn’t be considered a problem according to that system (and others I’ve seen).
