If there is already a thread on brisk walking, I’d love a link!

If not, feel free to join here.

The goal is at least 30 minutes of brisk walking a day, 5 days a week. It doesn’t have to be done in one block. You can do two 15-minute walks or three 10-minute walks, as you like!

Brisk walking has many health benefits. Good for your heart, good for your waistline, good for your mind.

Today, I did 40 minutes of brisk walking. It’s quite cold and slippery but we have a lot of hills here. I find running too hard-going and stressful. Brisk walking is perfect for my pace.

Hello [waves] love walking (reasonably briskly]. Don't often go out on my own, especially in the cold and wet but always up for a walk and a bit of a chat. My favourite pastime, pretty much. In the longer, warmer days (I am in the UK) I manage 10k steps a day easily, wintertime not so much.

Would love to be part of a MN even if only virtual walking group
