Step bet

Read about Step bet in a BBC article today and it sounds good - has anyone used it before? Pay around £30 ($40) and you are given a step goal to reach over the course of 6 weeks . If you succesffuly complete it you get a cut of the money pot at the end. If you fall behind your goal you get eliminated. I think it sounds great but anyone any experience of it?

I've just joined. I've got to do 16000 4 times a week and 20000 2 days. I am active in my work so it seems about right based on my usual daily activity using Fitbit. Def good motivation for me to go for it. It worked out at £30 to do it.

From reading some more it seems that it's around £5-10 you make if you complete your goals depending on how many others complete. Not brilliant but I guess the motivation is not to lose the £30.
I'm looking forward to the challenge.
