Best exercise for toning a pear

Have tried all sorts of exercise in my time; current faves are running, walking and Kettlercise. These keep me fairly slim and feeling quite fit. However nothing ever seems to improve the look or wobble (!) of my bottom half. Are there any fellow pear-shaped Mumsnetters who can recommend a way of toning legs and/or bums please?

I’m a pear and found my exercise bike set at a high gear helped to slim my thighs down a bit. Also swimming. I’d also recommend trying the squat challenge (you can get it online). It really toned up my bum and got rid of cellulite

Walking on a treadmill at high inclines works for me.

I don't have access to a treadmill but am surrounded by hills - maybe they'd do the same job...

Should do if you time your walks - ie nothing slower than 3-3.5mph
