Exercise bike?

Thinking about getting an exercise bike to use at home as a way to increase my fitness; haven’t used one for years so not sure where to start!

Don’t want to invest a huge amount of money in one in case I can’t stick to it or don’t get on with it, but want to at least give it a shot!

Can anyone advise a good place to start, and any advice too?

I recently bought an exercise bike and am actually using it Grin

I specifically wanted a folding one so that it could be put in a corner when not in use.

Mine was the Roger Black Folding Exercise Bike from Argos (just seen it's reduced - typical...) and I'm very happy with it. It's comfortable (for me), sturdy, and fits my short legs quite well.

Not sure what else I can tell you, but if you want more info, just ask.

Oh, and it was fairly easy to assemble.

have a look in the small ads....loads on there, although this time of year you won't be the only one on the lookout with a NYresolution!

I got a cross trainer with a bike option...used it a fair bit in the autumn and intend to get the hell on with it for the sake of my waistline in the NY!

I’ve been looking at this one on Very...

Reviews look good and it’s one of the cheaper ones! Ideally one that folds is what I’m looking for in terms of storage.

Do you find that you can find the motivation to do it? And do you notice a difference in your fitness/has it helped you tone up/lose weight?

Thanks for your advice so far!

I've got one very similar to the Very link. It sits behind the living room door, it's small and is really easy to pull out to use. I use it a lot when watching TV. Easy to get out and quiet or it wouldn't happen! All about making it as easy as possible to just get on and go.
