Knickers!

I’m 2 runs away from (finally!) completing a C25K-originally started 2 years ago, and restarted a few times since.

My issue is my knickers - cannot get them to stay up, and then belly exposed and all v v uncomfortable and unpleasant. Some but not all of my Compression leggings keep things under control. One running friend I spoke to said she goes commando, but not sure I’m quite ready for that!!

Any suggestions? Other than big-assed granny pant...

I wear seamfree microfibre shorts from Primarni. They seem to do the job, and only cost about £4 for a pack of three if I remember correctly. Might be worth a try.

Commando running here, so much more comfortable!

Veterinari · 27/12/2017 07:44

Commando running here too!

BattleCunt · 27/12/2017 07:44

I wouldn't wear any.

Proper exercise pants from tk Maxx. Made huge difference to comfort.....no way could I go commando at nearly 50

SplatPancake · 27/12/2017 17:21

Thank you, I’ll have a poke around TK Maxx & Primary and maybe attempt a commando run too 😱

I don’t run but go commando at the gym-much comfier

UtahGirl12 · 29/12/2017 21:34

I went commando when running once, only to find the centre seam chafed my lady garden area. Ouch! Check any seams first! I now wear M & S micro fibre granny pants in black and swear by them. Keeps my belly warm too!

Gap have nice light pants in the gapfit range- I wear them.

If you go commando at the gym do a deep bend in the mirror first- have seen more arse detail than I needed to when behind people whose Lycra is obviously going!

Confused 🤢

don't run outside- but for the gym (and in general) VS underwear or proper branded from tkmaxx

SplatPancake · 20/01/2018 22:43

Thank you all, tried no pants in the gym today and it worked (under new non falling down leggings!)

Felt really weird walking in commando though 😂

I wear Runderwear on all runs, and they're brilliant - stay in place, hold everything in, fab!
