Exercise(weightlifting) while pregnant

Hi,

Third pregnancy, exercised all the way through with the others. I have given up somehigh impact exercise (gymnastics, sprinting, running, jogging) as my pelvic floor is no longer up to it (despite pfe every day). I had a PT who has been supportive, but very much believes in doing weights at half the level I was previously, which seems overly cautious to me. She also encourages me to train at what I view as low- medium intensity, where as I prefer medium to high. I have done a lot of research, and there seems to be no evidence to show that either high weights or high intensity have any impact on a healthy pregnancy. I have scaled things back, but I am reluctant to scale back much further, especially as I am only at the start of second trimester, and finally getting energy back again. I just wondered if others have experience in this area? I am confident withcontinuing with cardio, as I did in previous pregnancies, but would love to hear any evidence other people have researched? Many thanks for any advice.
