Fitbit or Apple Watch?

I want to keep an eye on my movement, making sure I'm not just sitting for hours on end at work etc

Do I want a Fitbit or an Apple Watch?

For what you describe a Fitbit will do.

An Apple Watch does much much more and is also a lot more expensive

A fitbit will be enough for that. They have a reminder to move feature that you can set for if you haven't done at least 250steps in an hour - which should cover what you want in stopping you sitting still to long at work, as well as the steps, distance, active mins, etc, including breakdown graphs of when you did all of these things.

Thank you... will narrow down the many fitbits that seem to be available!

Check out Polar430 too.

Fitbit, I have an Apple Watch and am really disappointed with the exercise features. I was working out before and it said my heart rate was 34. Wtf? I’d be nearly dead!

Ive just had an Apple Watch for my birthday and I’m really pleased with it overall, but I miss the Fitbit challenges I could have with friends. Apple watches are v expensive so not as common place which is a shame. The competition was helpful in keeping me moving

Super! Thanks it's decided!
