Can somebody recommend an online/YouTube Yoga tutorial for a beginner please?

I only started Yoga at the beginning of the year and while I really enjoyed the class, it was discontinued before the summer.

I would quite like to have a short routine I could realistically do every day at home while I figure out alternative classes (I live in The Sticks, not much choice here).

Or would just something like 5 sun salutations be enough to wake me up as we go in to the darker season? I need all the help I can get in the morning.... Hmm

I really like yoga glo. Loads of classes led by some great teachers. You can search by duration, style, level. You get a month free but then it's about eighteen dollars. It's worth it imo

Adrienne.. not that I've actually started yet but I've just been looking for the same. She seems to be very good.

I like Yoga with Adrienne and Yoga with Kassandra (particularly for yin yoga)

Synecdoche · 29/09/2017 12:14

Adrienne's 'Energizing Morning Sequence' and Kassandra's 'Beginner Yin Yoga Sequence' are my go-tos.

I was just thinking about starting a thread about this. Those recommendations sound good. Thanks Pacific!

What's yin yoga @Synecdoche? Just for women?

Synecdoche · 29/09/2017 12:20

No it's a very slow paced, restorative form of yoga where positions are held for a long time with an emphasis on stillness with the aim of accessing deep tissue. It takes some getting used to but I love it.

YogaTX on YouTube. They've got loads of videos - full body ones or ones for a particular complaint, lots of different lengths but mostly 20-30 minutes. There are a few different instructors, I've only tried Cole's videos and really liked them :)

Oh, thank you, all Smile

I am just looking at Adrienne doing her 'core and booty' class.
Do you think it is effective, just watching it? Grin

Yoga Studio App, I love it and there are work outs to target different areas and for different lengths of time. My only grip was that there's no pregnancy work out so I had to stop when bump got big. It's really easy to follow and I found doing 15 mins before my morning shower easy to fit in.

Adrienne - currently doing 30 days of yoga (about 2 days a week, not daily)

Another vote for Adriene. I did Revolution for the second time during the summer and am currently doing Yoga Camp again, although sometimes I don't have enough time, so do one of her shorter ones.

Another vote for Yoga Studio app! Lots of different length classes, really simple format to follow.

Thanks @Synecdoche. I found Kassandra's explanation YouTube video, and it sounds perfect for me.
