Running with a buggy

Hi, I'd like to start running again as it would just fit in quite well in the day with my twins (I have zero motivation early morning/late at night.) I've got an egg tandem stroller- big inflated rubber wheels, adjustable hand bar, locking front wheels, suspension etc. I won't be buying one especially designed for jogging as we just can't afford it, but wondered if the egg would be ok? Thanks!

How old are your twins? Don't run if they are less than 6mo and if older, think hard about their welfare if planning to run several times a week. Frequent very very very mild concussion has cumulative effects, and the bouncing of a buggy when the adult is running is easily enough to cause very mild concussion. Their brains are basically jelly at this stage- why risk the damage. I say this as a frustrated runner who would love to run with the buggy but DS bounces too much in it.

Also you often hear 'oh, baby will love that, so good to get them out! you can see them smiling away as they jiggle along!"

Yeah, it's a big joke to the baby - they do love bouncing up and down - but they can't tell their brain is slamming into their skull repeatedly.
