Showering before going to the gym

If you have a morning workout, do you shower beforehand? I wash my hands, brush my teeth and put on deodorant and clean kit, but don't see the point in showering as I'll be doing it afterwards..
Just me? Or am I totally disgusting?

Ah! Not just me then. The disgusting comment comes from my (poor) PT having to be in my vicinity when I'm huffing and puffing away and holding my prickly non shaven that day legs.

I was going to say YANBU but I see it's a PT session. I wouldn't normally shower before going to the gym, but I do for my one-on-one pilates sessions! PT is getting up close and personal (esp in pilates) and I feel like I'd stink without a shower even if I put on deodorant.

I did at the beginning but it seemed a bit daft to shower before so don't bother now.

I always have a shower before I go to the gym. I know this is ridiculous, but I can't help it!

Went to the gym yesterday morning. Didn't shower beforehand, just brushed and tied my hair up, brushed my teeth and got into gym kit. Showered and washed hair after I had been.

I do, because sometimes if I sweat too much I become itchy and irritated

I went this morning (no shower before) and I'll be back this evening and I haven't had time to get changed and will probably end up turning up in the same kit. I'll have a shower later.

FFS, I'm out of bed & dressed decently. That's a miracle feat at 6:45am.
