Home workouts and DVDs

I'm looking for a worthwhile home workout/DVD that will actually help me do meaningful exercise with visible results health wise and weight/tone wise.

I've looked into T25 this evening after seeing it mentioned in a few other threads, people seem to really love it, though after reading the negative reviews on amazon (granted, a small %) I'm in two minds about it. I really don't want to buy a faddy DVD that won't actually deliver. I need to feel like I've worked out!

I need something I can do at home, preferably not too long (you can see why T25 was looking like the answer, maybe it is)

For information purposes: I'm about a stone overweight, I walk regularly but haven't been to the gym/a class or done any meaningful exercise in a while. No health issues or problems with joints.
