I've been dabbling in PAYG this week. I already have a membership to Pure Gym nationwide as I travel a lot, but when I'm home I prefer to pay £5 to train at a local bodybuilding gym. And sometimes I want to swim, so I have paid to swim at the council leisure centre (but I don't like it).

Also, when I travel, there's not always a Pure Gym. I have to search for a place to pay to train.

So PAYG has been a new option to explore. I just had a lovely swim and workout at a Village hotel near my home. Last week I enjoyed a lovely spa hotel pool and gym before returning home from a business trip. These two visits cost me £6.50 and £7.50 respectively.

There's also the option to buy a monthly PAYG pass that will include unlimited access to every participating gym, up to whatever price point.

I'm already paying £28 a month for PureGym. PureGym participates in PAYG. I'm seriously considering getting the monthly pass at a level that covers the Village and Pure Gyms, and cancelling PureGym as I will then have access to the majority of gyms I want. I guess I would pay about £50 a month for it.

Has anyone else used Payasugym?
