Odd question - does doing squats and lunges improve your legs/bum?

I keep seeing crap all over Facebook/instagram with pictures of women who claim they're solely doing squats and lunges and turning flat bums into huge spherical peaches

Is it a real thing or a fake internet thing Confused

It's real, but unless you're genetically blessed, you probably need to do other exercises that focus more on the glutes to get a true bubble butt (squats and lunges rely primarily on your quadriceps.)

Glute bridges and hip thrusts are good for isolation of the glutes. There's also kick backs on a machine or cable and hip abductor moves like clamshells and cable side kicks. Some variations of deadlift are good, like the Romanian deadlift.
