Bootcamp - is once a week enough?

So I am thinking of going to a bootcamp (British Military Fitness) which is run in my local park.

Is once a week enough? I am training for a HM so don't have much other time. However I want to switch up my exercise a bit so its not just running/yoga. I have recently cancelled my gym membership as I cant justify the cost at the moment.

Enough for what?

If it's for a cross training day, then absolutely. If it's for fun then also yes.

If you want to lose 6 stone and join the special forces then probably not.

It all depends what you want to get from it...

Just to notice some results if that makes sense.

I like running but I find it can be a bit boring and repetitive, so I want to break it up with something that will work on other areas, mainly strength over stamina.

You will notice a difference doing it once a week. I go to a bootcamp once a week and I think it is of benefit. I have recently started doing extra exercises at home as well to support my running.

I think it will help support your running and yoga, and vice versa. Once a week should help you notice a difference and you can always do a bit at home too, easy to do body weight circuits.

Thanks very much. I have signed up for my first session on Tuesday.
