I would like to do some hill training once a week as part of my running. I live in SW London. Any hints/tips of where to go? My mind has gone blank!

Richmond Park. Some nice big hills there.

If you have a car Box Hill is not that far.

YY to Richmond

Also Parkrun at Brockwell (or Hilly Fields if the journey is not too much of a pig)

What sort of hills are you looking for, and can you narrow down a bit which bit if SW London?

Thanks. I'm in the Twickenham/Teddington/Richmond/Hampton/Kingston sort of area!

SquirmOfEels, I'm not sure about type as I haven't done hill training before, except by accident where I am now on holiday and I have no choice as everywhere is hilly!

Richmond Park, Wimbledon Common / Putney Heath

I also logged on to say Richmond Park / Wimbledon Common. Hello, neighbour. No good hills near Teddington, that's for sure, despite the deceptively named Strawberry Hill and Hampton Hill.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, shame there are no hills in Hampton Hill or Strawberry Hill! I will have to go to Richmond I think.
