PureGym members- a few questions?!
2

Rinceoir · 17/07/2017 00:17

I'm in desperate need of weight loss and getting fit again. DH and I work long and irregular hours, and we have a 3 year old so flexible gym hours and ideally lots of classes are required.

There's a PureGym locally, which is £35 per month for the extra option. Does anyone know if this would allow me to use other branches around London? I'm ideally hoping to do a class or two each week in the branch close to my workplace, and use the local branch at weekends and some evenings or early mornings.

Secondly, any opinions on these gyms? Prices seem too good to be true for London!

Pure gym is less than £20 here . It depends what you want to get out of the gym . If you want basic exercise , support if you need it and left alone if you don't, pure gym is the place to go. 24 hour Exercise with classes and a workout . Classes do get busy tho so book them early and try not to go to the gym peak times because you may not get on the equipment you want to use but apart from that I think pure gym is as cheap as chips .
I have heard their Personal trainers aren't great though , but that may be like everywhere , some places are better than others .
I think you can use multi gyms if you pay the extra .

Thanks numbmum. I want fairly basic access to machines and classes, but don't want to be stuck waiting to get on to the treadmill. What's attracting me is the multi gym options as I think going to a lunchtime class in the week would suit me. I'm just a bit confused by their membership options.

I'd love a PT but here in London they are shockingly expensive of course. Which I'd struggle to afford given the shocking costs of rent and childcare!
