Exercise at home tips

Hi,

I'm on a diet and fitness mission this summer. I've lost 1.5 stone and started running again, I complete C25K tonight. So I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas on what to do next and how to keep motivation.

At the moment I run on weekends and 1 night through the week. I try to get out for a couple of walks a week and do a yoga class each week.

I really want to look toned and strong and to get my hourglass figure back (huge norks and round arse). At the minute I look more like a barrel though as I have very little definition.

I used to walk to and from work (1.5 hours each day) and do Pilates but now work from home so find it difficult to get out and about as much.

My rough plan is to continue running with a view to get to 10k (in approximately 6 weeks if I stick to the programme) and combine that with some kind of daily strength training. I'm happy to get it out of the way in the morning as I'm up about 5:30 anyway but struggling to find something quick and effective that isn't shred.

Can anyone help?

Wow that's great OP and very inspiring!

I don't have much advice to offer as I am just starting my own journey but wanted to bump for you.

I used to kettle bells classes each week pre-dc and as someone who thoroughly dislikes exercise I absolutely loved it!

So perhaps look into getting a couple of kettlebells of different weights (one to use for one arm movements and a heavier one for movements that require both arms) and look online for a workout?
