Running with cough

I am a graduate of couch to 5k and training to 10K. Been out the game for nearly a week with cough. When will it be ok to start again. Had a borderline fever last night, ok today except cough. A bit tired. Think it'll be ok to run tonight?

Probably a bit late but rule of thumb is don't run if cough is on your chest...

I've got bronchitis at the moment and am training as normal (weights and Hiit with a bit of running). GP took my pulse ox reading and said go for it even though I'm coughing my guts up. I feel well and don't have a temperature however.

You could go out in running gear but just start with a brisk walk. See how you go. Maybe have a light jog if you feel up to it.

As a general rule it's ok to run with a head cold but best not to if the symptoms are below the neck

I usually find a short jog good for a cough, once you're not about to keel over obviously. It seems to shake things free for me.
