Hi all,
I've become quite unfit over the past couple of years. There is a 10k gravel route/track, quite flat, around the villages. I used to be able to do it easily 2 years ago.
I went out today, and got to the 2km mark, and had to stop to be sick.
I tried to go on, but it happened again, and I turned round and walked my bike back.
a- I feel so defeated, and so unfit! but b- why was I sick? Did I eat breakfast too close? (egg on toast at 10am - biked at 11am) or is it just I'm unfit??

I'm careful when I eat before running, but have never had a problem with cycling. But you left an hour, and it wasn't a massive meal - could something have been wrong with the egg?

Do keep trying, but don't worry about tanking round at the speed you used to do! Or find a shorter route for starters?

Good luck!
