Today I did wk3 r1 couch to 5k and I need to complete it this time !

For one pointless -excuse- reason after another I get so far and then stop .

This time I have signed myself up for a 5k in May so I have to do it now . I do enjoy it once I get into it and I really want to finish something for once .

If anyone has any hints tips or kicks up the arse spare I would appreciate it .

Yikes Olivander, props to you, that's amazing!

Moth, I totally get you, I find the best thing is to actually just go for it where you should be in the programme, you can always slow down, or extend a walking interval (or more likely shorten a running interval!), and you'll be amazed at what you can do, even with a cough. I hate running when it's icy or slippery mud though (the Santa run yesterday was quite muddy and slippy in places, so had to walk or gingerly run those bits), can you go inside? I'm finding it challenging to run outside at the moment, it's so dark all the time, but we have a treadmill at home, so if I feel the need I jump on there. Need to up the running again though.

Does anyone else find it really tiring getting around, but then recovers REALLY quickly when it's over? I'm like this and presume it's because I'm not pushing myself enough, but I think I'd be sick if I push myself when already struggling to breathe.

Feeling chuffed - 4 km in 35 mins - still super slow but progress for me. Have lost 1 stone approx too.
But still v overweight . For the first time ever though I did think I could get to 5 km . So pleased to have found this app - it's done wonders for my confidence.

Haven’t been able to run for a bit. But hoping might get out soon.
