Ugh. I sort of suspected this might happen, and now it has. I'm racing at 6.30 tomorrow morning and the course will take me a couple of hours.

Day one today; light
Day two tomorrow; biblical flooding.

The course is in and out of water. I don't know if i can race wearing my mooncup. But a pad could get waterlogged...

... thousands of people...

... portaloos...

Bugger bugger bugger.

Why couldn't you race using the mooncup?
black lycra shorts!!

Mooncup and black leggings in case.

I'd use the mooncup - I've heard a lot of the triathlon pros use them as they don't absorb the water.

Is it an OCR event you're doing?

Imnotaslimjim · 20/10/2016 14:27

I'd go with the mooncup. Even if it leaks a little, it should stem the flow enough for you to get through 2 hours. Then take a change of clothes and some pads to put on once your done.

I mooncupped. It was okay. Bit uncomfortable but it did the job.

And now I'm knackered!!
