I've just started getting back into my Davina DVD's and wonder if anyone would like to join me in tracking their exercise. Plan to do one 3 times a week building up to 5 when I'm feeling a bit fitter. Did 30 minutes boxercise of the 3 30 minute workouts DVD last night. Thought we could use this thread to check in when we've completed our workouts and track progress.

Hi,
I am currently doing Charlotte Crosby's Belly Blitz 4x a week and I love it! I am thinking about starting a Davina one - would you recommend?

LearnToFly · 11/08/2016 19:45

Hi, the Davina ones I have are pretty old ones. My three 30 minute workouts and The Power of 3. I really like both of them. I've tried the Charlotte Crosby one too but found it was too fast for me. Really struggled to keep up 😟

I'll join in when mine arrives, I ordered the 15 minute and 7 minute workout ones this morning off eBay, they've been dispatched but 2nd class.

It'll be good having other people for motivation as I hate exercise.

Great, let me know what you think of those two as I'm probably due an update!

I really like her 15 minute one, I usually do the cardio and another session followed by the stretch and chill out so altogether it's about 45 mins. I like the trainers too, they don't talk too much, but talk enough to keep you motivated. When it comes to fitness DVDs I like Davina and Jillian Michaels.

It arrived today! I can't complain at that, I only ordered it yesterday lunch time.

I did the warm up, fat burning section, boxing section then about 3 minutes of the ultimate fat burning bit but it involved a lot of toe touching and my knees aren't up to that yet.
I found it easier than I thought which is good although it does make me think there's no way it'll work, however the fact I made the effort makes me not want to eat junk food.

How's everyone else getting on?

That sounds good Littlepig. I'm a bit scared of Jillian Michaels Grin Always feel as though I need to be so much fitter before I can attempt hers!

Great Dogsmom, I have a bit rubbish this week as the house is full of sickness unfortunately, only managed the once. Hopefully the DC's will be back to normal next week and I can get into a bit of a routine again.

I've ordered the Davina 15 one, it will be here on Monday!
Do you need any extra equipment eg. weights? That's why I liked the Charlotte Crosby one (not particularly a fan of her).

Dogsmom · 12/08/2016 21:17

In the 7 minute one she used a weight for some squats, there's another section I haven't done yet so not sure if she uses anything else, there might be a write up online with more information about the 15 minute one.

LearnToFly · 12/08/2016 21:42

Yeah, in the Pump section of the Three 30 Minute she uses weights as well.

I've just done the 7 minute one again and did the ultimate leg workout section for the first time, I'm useless at lunges because my knees hurt so much but I did them all as best I could.

I've also started c25k Shock I did my first one last night and unbelievable I really enjoyed it, I'm 41 and the last time I ran was during my primary schools sports day, it was hard at times but at the end I was on such a high.

jumped totally different subject but is your user name a misheard Smiths lyric?
