How long and how often before you start to notice the difference? Confused

How far & how long do you swim for now, is it as much as you can manage?

Once I had worked on my technique and was swimming a couple of lengths of freestyle at a time, I really noticed that each week I was able to swim faster and further.
Bodywise, it took longer and making sure I really engaged my core to twist, but that was on top of having been running for some time

Am swimming in the sea so not sure really how far I am going! I'm a novice but looking to shift a stone and get fit post baby she's almost 2!!, tone up and feel better. Thanks for your replies so far x

I want to suggest aim for half an hour 3x a week. If you want swimming by itself to noticeably change your body, that's a bare minimum. 1 hour each time 4-5x a week would do more.

I couldn't swim in sea after September, so you might need to look at a pool membership. Good luck!
