Hands trembling 15 hours after exercise

This year I have been trying hard to get a lot fitter. I got a dog at Christmas and a Fitbit and have been walking about 15,000 steps per day. More recently I've tried to step the activity up a bit and last night I went to a very fit friend's house and she did a boxing session with me. We did it almost like a circuit, moving from exercise to exercise. She pushed me pretty hard and at points I felt like I was going to be sick but I got through it and enjoyed pushing myself.

This was the most intensive exercise I have done for quite some time and afterwards my hand were very shaky. I read up on it and understand it could be caused by dehydration so I've drank lots but am still shaking quite a lot now. Do I need to be worried?

If it makes any difference, I am a size 16 and 13.5st with an obese BMI so am obviously not in great physical shape. My resting HR is 60 according to my Fitbit.

Did you use gloves and wraps?

TransformersRobotsInDaSky · 15/06/2016 09:50

Wheresthattomoibabber no wraps, just gloves.

It sounds like you've over exerted the muscles in your arms and shoulders.

I notice a huge difference if I box without wraps.

hewl - thanks, I will research that online and see what is suggested.

Wheresthattomoibabber - thanks, I will make sure I use the wraps next time, she offered me them but I stupidly said no without realising the benefit Blush
